St. Patrick's Day Parade

St. Patrick’s Day is a time to celebrate the luck of the Irish with a parade! Whether you’re searching for ways to honor your Irish heritage or merely look good in green, Overland Park has the Irish celebration for you. Put on your favorite shade of green for Downtown Overland Park’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade! This family-friendly event kicks off with a Master of Ceremonies featuring marching bands, drill teams, Irish dancers and costumed performers. Make sure the kids bring a small bag to collect candy as the parade performers walk by.

And after the parade, it wouldn’t be St. Patrick’s Day without a feast and a pint or two at one of the several Downtown OP restaurants.

The parade route will start at 79th and Floyd, and then will head west on 79th St. to Santa Fe Dr. It will head south on Santa Fe Dr., concluding at Robinson Street. Check Downtown OP’s website for parking options.
