Historic Downtown Overland Park will capture your interest with its historic charm and small town flair.  The area originally bustled with horse-drawn traffic and daily stops of the famous Steam Electric Interurban Railroad Line.  Nearly a century later, the 25-block radius boasts a vibrant shopping and restaurant district featuring nearly 300 locally owned and operated venues. Located just off Metcalf between 78th and 83rd streets, this shopping and entertainment district has been designated a “Main Street” city.

Farmers’ Market
The Overland Park Farmers’ Market attracts a large crowd of shoppers and vendors alike.  The market is open from April through November. 

Clock Tower Concert Series at the Farmers’ Market
Every Wednesday and Saturday morning during the Farmers’ Market, free concerts can be enjoyed under the Clock Tower.

Annual Overland Park Fall Festival & Parade
This much anticipated Fall Festival at Santa Fe Commons includes local arts, crafts, entertainment, food and a parade.

Mayor’s Lighting Ceremony
Enjoy cider, cookies, caroling, music and a visit from Santa as Overland Park kicks off the holiday season with the lighting of the City’s Christmas Tree.

Music in the Park
On Sunday evenings during the summer, enjoy free outdoor concerts at the Santa Fe Commons Park.
