A concert at the Museum?

“A concert at the museum?” I was asked that question a lot before I went to the 99.7 The Point “Get To Know Show” featuring Lifehouse at the Museum at Prairiefire. The next question was always, “how do you think the acoustics will be there?” And, to be honest, I wasn’t sure myself. But, the Museum was the perfect venue for this event.
I think Jason Wade said it best himself, “it resonates with the people when it resonates with us personally.” This was one show that definitely resonated with the people!
As the series suggests, it was a “Get to Know Show.” With only 100 seats, it felt up-close-and-personal as the group played some old favorites. And when they played their latest recording, it felt like you were in the studio with them hearing it before anyone else. Between songs, they band interacted with the audience – offering friendly banter about the Trex staring them down and answering questions from their fans. The cherry on top of the evening was taking a party pic with the band!
So, a concert at the Museum? Yes please! I can’t wait for the next show! And, as for the sound, the acoustics were amazing!
